BOYS BASKETBALL STYMIES THE FIREBIRDS AGAIN!

East Boys Bball sent their record to 11-4 overall and 8-2 in the GMC with a big 66-52 win at home over Lakota West. Before a packed house on Friday, the Hawks maintained a strong lead throughout the contest. The Firebirds struggled offensively due to some serious defense put on by the Thunderhawks. The win gives East the series sweep for the season. East now leads the all-time series 24-20.
Leaders for East: Jadon Coles and Charlie Kenrich (double double 10 rebounds) with 12 points. Kobe Peck added 10. Coles and Kenrich also contributed 5 assists.
The Hawks will visit Oak Hills on Tuesday and play at Sycamore on Friday.
