BOYS BASKETBALL SINKS MASON

BAYZE WIELAND THREE-POINTER EARNS EAST THE WIN!
East Boys battled Mason at home on Tuesday night in a defensive struggle. The score at the half (19-15 Mason) certainly confirmed the type of game it was for both teams. Scoring was at a premium for the Hawks and Comets.
The East defense was able to hold off the Comets and keep the score at 44 each with less than 5 seconds remaining. Senior Bayze Wieland got a pass from well beyond the arch and sunk the game-winning basket, sending the players and fans home smiling.
Trey Perry led East with 13 tough-earned points. Tyler Bachman added 10 and Bayze Wieland finished with 9.
The Hawks (8-8, 5-5) are back in action this Friday at Middletown
