Baseball Falls to Big Blue 3-0

Strong pitching highlighted both sides Monday, but Hamilton capitalized late for a 3–0 win over Lakota East.
After four scoreless innings, Hamilton broke through in the fifth on a passed ball and a two-run single by Snyder.
Nicholls was sharp for East, allowing just one hit and no runs over four innings while striking out eight. Hamilton’s starter was equally effective, tossing six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and no walks.
Reinhart led East at the plate, going 2-for-2. Maddox Jones drove in two runs for Hamilton, while Jones, Snyder, and Davidson each recorded a hit. Hamilton also turned a double play and played error-free defense.
Lakota East (3-2, 0-1) travels to Fairfield today (Wednesday, 4/8).
