Girls Cross Country Results from Hot Summer Bash @Hilliard Davidson

The Lakota East Cross Country team made the most of a flat, competitive course at Hilliard Davidson’s Hot Summer Bash this Saturday morning and delivered impressive performances across the board.

The girls varsity race showed the payoff of the hard work they’ve put in throughout this week’s practices. At the front of the girls varsity race, seniors Molly Deardorff and Ava Dickenson represented the Hawks and each finished within the top 15. Molly continues to prove that she is one of the best to ever do it at East. Her time of 18:09 for 5k propelled her to #2 all time in East's record book. Freshman Alyssa Browne continues to stun as she finished next in 24th place with a new personal best time. To add to these successes, seniors Brooks Billingsley and Madelyn Still and freshman Ava Kidd all cut off significant time to set personal records on the day.

Next Saturday morning, the Hawks are back for more at Little Miami High School for the Little Miami Invitational.
