CHESS CONCLUDES SEASON, 3RD IN GMC!
The East Chess team traveled to Sycamore on December 3rd to play in the GMC Second Round. The Hawks finished the day winning 3 of 5 matches, which secured third place in the league. All seven players, Isaac Baumgarte, AJ
CHESS TIES WITH WEST
The East Chess team took on West on Thursday, 11/20, and came away with a 2.5-2.5 tie. East's record goes to 6-2-1.
Chess Team Checkmates Oak Hills
The Chess team traveled to Oak Hills to face the Highlanders yesterday in a battle for third place in the GMC. The Hawks won in dominating fashion, grabbing a 4-1 victory and sweeping the JV boards as well. Logan Kilgore, Shrey Rana, Tyler Hubbard and Murat Bayraktar all secured points for the Hawks.

11/6: Mason got the best of East today but not without a battle. AJ Cochrum and Logan Kilgore scored for the Hawks in the defeat losing 3.5-1.5
