The Lakota East Thunderhawks enter the 2026 season under head coach
Steven Burkhardt, who is in his 8th year leading the program. Following a successful 2025 campaign that saw the team finish with a 13-8 record and reach the State Regional Semifinals, the Thunderhawks return a core group of senior leaders and experienced underclassmen.
The staff features a mix of veteran leadership and returning alumni:

· Varsity Offensive Coach: Tyler Chalk '18 (Former East player).
· JV Coaching Staff: Ben Domina '21(Former East player) and Michael Addai (Mount Saint Joe graduate).

East Boys LAX saw their 2026 season come to a close on Monday, 5/18, with a 17-4 loss to Mason. The Hawks battled, but the Comets had too much firepower. No other details available.
